Pearls are soft gems. They are durable but very delicate and need gentle care. Proper care is required to ensure their elegance and luster. Follow some Instructions below to care for your valuable pearls.

Use a soft cloth and mineral water to clean the pearls regularly and gently. Do not clean pearls with detergents. If necessary, use only mild cleansers such as baby shampoo.

Store pearls in a soft cloth moistened with water separate from other hard jewelry made of diamonds, gems, gold or silver. Pearls can be scratched easily. They should be stored in a soft place.

Pearls can absorb perfume, skin oils and dirt. Protect pearls from temperature extremes and chemicals such as vinegar, alcohol and hair spray, perfume, body spray, make-up and lotions, which will dull their luster. Put on pearls last, after you are done dressing up.
